ATTENDING: Chairman Jim Wendelgass; Members Wheeler Aman, Peter Roger and Zoning Officer Robert Wideman. Castle Valley submitted a review letter for the Subdivision/Land Development plan for Barbara and Sandy Dunn, property located at 1030 Jaine Lane, Chester Springs. The Dunn's are subdividing their property into two lots. The applicant has decided on the option to use the Tier II or Tier III. They will meet with Castle Valley and Mr. Wideman to discuss their options. A work session is to be held on Thursday, November 7, 2002 for further review of the Griffith/Della Porta Subdivision/Land Development plan. Revised plans for the Joseph Piccone subdivision have been sent to Castle Valley for review. Mr. Wideman asked that stakes be placed regarding the location of the proposed disturbance of an existing stone wall. This will be on the November 21, 2002 Planning Commission agenda. Cynthia Clark of 2534 Flowing Springs Road has been in and spoken with Mr. Wideman about her 12.8-acre property, which she is considering subdividing into 5 lots. The Zoning Ordinance will need to be consolidated and new amendments reviewed. The Planning Commission will set up a time line for the review of this material. John and Petty Madara submitted a Conditional Use application for a driveway in steep slopes located at 40 Rock Springs Road, Chester Springs. Peter Rogers made a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors, second by Wheeler Aman, to approve the construction of a driveway in a precautionary slope district and to reflect the specific type erosion control matting being used on the plan. All in favor. Page McCrossin submitted a Zoning Hearing Board application for the keeping of her horses on a 2 acre undeveloped lot. The hearing was held on October 2, 2002 and the decision was to allow the proposed use with minor conditions. A motion was made to approve the minutes from September 19, 2002 meeting with the following changes: The Planning Commission was not in favor of the McCrossin Zoning Hearing submission regarding the keeping of horses on an undeveloped lot. There being no additional business the' meeting was adjourned at 9:25 p.m. |
