ATTENDING:
Chairman
Chris Carroll, members Jan Beale, Vickie Laubach, Donald Cook, Jim Wendelgass
and Township Manager Allen Heist. The
chairman called the meeting to order at 5:10 p.m. The
Board of Supervisors and the Planning Commission reported on: Toll Brothers,
Inc. and Orleans Homebuilders, Inc. has asked for the Planning Commission
for preliminary plan approval which was not granted at their April 18, 2002
meeting. Toll Brothers must comply with Castle Valley's review letter and will
be on the May agenda. The Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors
thanked Peter Moscufo for all the time he spent reviewing this plan. The
following minor subdivisions are out for review Perkins/Titone, Nash, John
and Maureen Tedesco and Duffield. West
Vincent Land Trust continues to work on and support the Open Space referendum, which will
be on the ballot Tuesday, May 21, 2002. Remember to vote. There will be an
informational public meeting at the Ludwigs Corner Fire Company on Monday, May
6, 2002 at 7:30 p.m. regarding this matter. The West Vincent Land Trust was
given the deed to the old slaughter house until the East Vincent Township Land
Trust is in place. Ann
Perry from East Nantmeal Township and John Hoekstra of Green Valleys
Association were in attendance to express the concerns on the wetland, storm
water management, and watershed issues in the Griffith sketch plan. All
these will be addressed when an official plan is submitted. Weatherstone
Development (Hankin) and the Township are working on the Pump and Haul agreement. They are
very close to receiving final plan approval. A building permit application has
been submitted for the library with ground breaking to be May 29, 2002. Zoning
Hearing Board hearings for Columbia Gas Transmission and the Siana
Family Trust has been continued until Wednesday, May 22, 2002 at the
Township Building. Vicki
Laubach informed the EAC of the following grants that are available, National
Tree Trust is accepting applications for the 2003 tree planting grant and the 4-H
Council is sponsoring the Community Tree Planting Grant. The
meeting was adjourned at 6:50 p.m. |
