ENVIRONMENTAL ADVISORY COUNCIL

ATTENDING:
Chairman Peter Moscufo, member Chris Carroll and Jim Wendelgass, Township
Manager Allen Heist. The
chairman Peter Moscufo called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m. Greene
Valley's Association sponsored a presentation with The EAC Network; this
was an informational presentation to inform our EAC and the Township of EAC
importance in the community. For more information on this group you many

Planning Commission has been working on the review of the Toll
Brother/Orleans Home Builders, Inc. (Ewing Tract) plan, revised plans have
been submitted and have been sent out for further review. A Zoning Hearing
Board hearing is scheduled for 2/13/02. The Planning Commission has also been
reviewing the Agricultural Village Community Zoning Amendments and has
made recommendation for the following changes: A Conditional Use hearing would
be required for approval of a master plan, rewording of particular section to
clarify intent and to try and clarify the net density issue as it relates to
development rights, there will be further discussion on this matter. The
West Vincent Land Trust has formalized Stone et al, Fraley/Scott and Perkins easement
agreements, and is working on other easement agreements. The
chairman asked for anyone interested in being on the EAC to please
attend monthly meetings, which are the first Wednesday of each month at 5:00
p.m. and upon Jan Beale's return in April will make recommendations at that
time. All
correspondence was reviewed which included the Southeastern Pennsylvania
Regional Conference for EAC to be held Saturday, March 16, 2002 8:30 a.m.
to 2:30 p.m. Peter will be attending the conference, if anyone else is
interested in attending please contact Peter Moscufo. Pete
Tumillo of Tumillo and Sons submitted a Land Development plan for the
property on 1024 Pottstown Pike (the Griffith house). He would like to turn the
house into offices, which is a change in the current use. It is currently
residential and would be used for two commercial offices. The EAC will review
at their March meeting. A 3
lot, tier 1 subdivision application has been received for Stone, Shick, and
Williams, 1210 Davis Lane. This plan is still out for review and will be
addressed at the March meeting. Review
letters have been received from Castle Valley Consultants on the Mary
Seibert subdivision plan regarding two-lots on 6.4-acres, Lot
14 Cotswold Estate (Wyndemere Lake Drive). Jon
Lines of
968 Pottstown Pike has submitted a Conditional Use application, for four (4)
ministorage buildings on his property. The Conditional Use hearing is scheduled
for Monday, March 11, 2002. There will be further review of this plan. Edward and Lisa Quinn of 1066 Bartlett Lane have asked for a continuance on their special exception hearing. No dates have been scheduled. There
being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:00 p.m. The next meeting will be Wednesday, March 6, 2002. |
