ATTENDING: Chairperson Craig Hannafin, Member Jan Beale and Township Manager Allen Heist. The chairperson called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m. Minutes from the June 6, 2001 meeting were approved.
ADMINISTRATIVE: The Board of Supervisors acknowledged receipt of the Toll Brothers Preliminary Subdivision Plan for the subdivision of the Eagle Farm property (Ewing Tract) located on S. Chester Springs Road and Eagle Farms Road. The plan shows 319 homes on 380 acres of land. Solicitor Greenwood advised that preliminary approval of the Weatherstone Preliminary Plan (Hankin) be postponed until the July 9, 2001 meeting.
Craig Hannifin read a letter from Pam Shillingford-Brown announcing her resignation from the EAC effective as of July 2, 2001 and Craig Hannifin announced she would be moving and that she would be stepping down from the EAC, this would be her last meeting (No meeting in August). Pam and Craig have organized the Township Park dedication on Saturday, August 11, 2001 at 10:00 a.m., which they will make their last official acts as Chairman and Vice Chairman. It has been talked about making the EAC meetings at 5:00 or an evening meeting in hopes to have better attendance. The Board of Supervisors will review this matter.
Susan Morse, Ph.D. A Historical Research and Consultant from Chester Springs would like to be the Township Historian which the EAC and Mrs. Perkins agreed would be a wonderful idea. Ms. Morse will meet with Mr. Heist and review the files later this month.
A workshop will be held on July 25, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. at the Warwick Township building by the French and Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust for township supervisors and planning commission members to promote the Challenge Grant program which will provide matching funds to the townships for the purchase of agricultural conservation easements to protect farmland.
The West Vincent Land Trust meeting for August has been cancelled and the next meeting will be Tuesday, September 11, 2001.
The Trail committee will meet before final placement of the trails regarding the Weatherstone plan (Hankin) for both the equestrian/pedestrian trails. The Hankin group will show the approximate location of the trails on the preliminary plan and will show the exact location before Final Plan approval.
The EAC acknowledged the Toll Bothers application for subdivision of the Ewing Tract. The plan has been sent out for review and will be addressed at a later date. Robert Wideman and Castle Valley Consultants will review the 939 Pottstown Pike Associates preliminary plan and address any stormwater issues.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 10:25 a.m.
