The administrative meeting of the Board of Supervisors, held in the Township Building on the above date was called to order at 8:00 a.m. by Chairman Kenneth Miller; also in attendance were Supervisors Karl Brachwitz and Zoë Perkins, Township Manager Allen Heist and Code Enforcement Officer Robert Wideman. Resident Paul Fairchild was present to personally request the Board to consider placing an advertisement in the Rotary Journal; the Rotary Club of Central Chester County is a local service organization benefiting local, national, and international projects. While commending the organization on their humanitarian efforts, Messrs. Miller and Brachwitz felt it not prudent to spend Township money on advertising in the Journal.
Susan Quigley, owner of 14 Hunt Hill Road (Tax Parcel 25-4-23.110), was present to ask the Board to expedite resolution or release her property from the encumbrances related to the Sheeder Mill Development Agreement between the Township and Stephen Siana. Settlement on her property is pending satisfactory resolution. Mr. Siana, who was also present, reviewed the history of the agreement, submitted a cost estimate for improvements, and indicated intent to transfer escrow funds to the Township; Mr. Siana also mentioned that Lot 16 would be conveyed the end of June. Solicitor Greenwood has been working on the Quigley issue and prepared a draft letter for the Board’s consideration; upon execution, the release letter confirms that 14 Hunt Hill Road is released from any escrow obligations relating to the Sheeder Mill Subdivision and that the Township will not withhold building permits for the parcel. Manager Heist will authorize Mr. Greenwood to finalize the release letter for the Board’s signature; the Township Engineer will review the outstanding subdivision improvements and contractor estimate submitted by Mr. Siana.
Manager Heist reported on the following issues regarding the Township Park:
As a follow-up to Paul Brock’s concerns regarding the noise levels resulting from the Columbia Gas Transmission Corporation operation, Robert Wideman is obtaining cost estimates to conduct a noise level study.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:10 a.m.
