The administrative meeting of the Board of Supervisors, held in the Township Building, was called to order at 8:00 a.m. by Chairman Kenneth Miller; also in attendance were Supervisors Karl Brachwitz and Zoë Perkins, Township Engineer Craig Kologie, and Code Enforcement Officer Robert Wideman.
John Bachich, David Beideman, and Jeffrey Miller were present to review the Laymen’s Missionary Movement Preliminary Subdivision Plan proposing 33 single-family houses on St. Matthews Road. At their meeting Thursday, the Planning Commission recommended that the Board forward the Sewage Facilities Planning Module to PaDEP; the applicant is proposing a community spray irrigation sewage system. Discussion regarding the Pine Drive access and proposed sewage system resulted in the following:
A motion was made by Mr. Brachwitz, seconded by Mrs. Perkins, to forward the Sewage Facilities Planning Module to PaDEP; the motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Mr. Brachwitz to grant conditional use approval to Taylor Braendel in accordance with the Decision dated August 21, 2000, subject to the Applicant’s compliance with twelve conditions per the attached document. The motion was seconded by Mrs. Perkins and carried unanimously.
John E. Potter, who owns a lot on Davis Lane (Hard Scrabble Farm Subdivision), has submitted a Sewage Facilities Planning Module; this subdivision was approved under a Form B non-building waiver. A motion was made by Mrs. Perkins, seconded by Mr. Brachwitz, to forward the Sewage Facilities Planning Module to PaDEP; the motion carried unanimously.
Robert Wideman updated the Board on a meeting with Philadelphia Suburban Water Company; PSW is considering a water line option of Cedar Lane to access Route 100.
Bid Opening:
As advertised for this date, sealed bids were received and opened for the construction of the West Vincent Township Municipal Complex, 729 St. Matthews Road, for general/site construction from the following contractors:
