Chairman Wendelgass called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m.
REPORTS AND ZONING:
Allen Heist informed the Planning Commission that September 14, 2000 work session will be held to review the revised MPC/Regional Zoning (Newtown Twp.)
SUBDIVISIONS/LAND DEVELOPMENT:
John Bachich and David Beideman of Beideman Associates was present to review the preliminary plans on the Woodstone Development (Layman’s Home) project and Jeff Miller from Evans Mill Environmental, Inc. was present to review the Sewage Facilities Planning Module, so were many resident from Pine Drive and Miller Road. Mr. Beideman reviewed the 33 unit, single family development at 156 St. Matthews Road with a single access onto St. Matthews Road with an emergency access as requested by the Planning Commission. A conditional use hearing will be needed for the steep slope area which they will submitted prior to Planning Commission approval. Mr. Miller explained the difference between a spray system and a drip system. The residences are concerned about the location of the system. The Planning Commission will hold a work session on August 10, 2000 to review the Sewage Planning Module.
Brian Hammond has submitted a Subdivision Application for the property located at 2540 Beaver Hill Road, owned by Gayle L. Hammond, for a two lot subdivision. The plans have been sent out for review. Kate Damsgaard asked David Beideman if they could deed restrict any part of the property, he will talk to Mr. Hammond.
Owen J. Roberts School District/Griffith Tract submitted a set of sketch plans. The sketch plan is for Pearl M. Griffith Farm, 1461 Pottstown Pike, for a 2-lot subdivision.
Vince Kling submitted the following explanation for the waivers he is asking for from the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance for the Kling Family Property. The waivers deal with Section 403, Section 404 and Section 615C. The impacts of site improvements, community association documents, and performance bond and recreational usage. The Planning Commission will review and make a recommendation at the next meeting.
Minutes from the June 15, 2000 meeting were approved.
