The administrative meeting of the Board of Supervisors, held in the Township Building, was called to order at 8:07 a.m. by Chairman Kenneth Miller; also in attendance were Supervisors Karl Brachwitz and Zoë Perkins and Code Enforcement Officer Robert Wideman.
Stephen Siana, Esquire, David Frame, and John Bruner were present to discuss the revised Route 100 ByPass Alignment plan prepared by Castle Valley Consultants, Inc. delineating rights of way for the northern segment of the ByPass onto the Bruner property to yield two viable commercial lots (one on the Griffith property and one on the Bruner property). Following a lengthy discussion, the Board decided to forward copies of 1) the current Route 100 Overlay alignment plan showing the ByPass delineation along property line boundaries, 2) a revised plan showing the ByPass delineation along property line boundaries and the alignment of Nantmeal Road repositioned closer to the southern section of the Ludwigs Corner Fire Company property and 3) the revised plan showing the ByPass delineation onto the Bruner property to the Township Traffic Engineer to identify the benefits of each of the three ByPass layouts.
A motion was made by Mrs. Perkins, seconded by Mr. Miller, to provide the lyme disease vaccine to Robert Wideman at a cost of $70 per injection; the motion carried with Perkins and Miller voting in favor, Brachwitz abstained.
Correspondence was recently received from the Township Engineer advising of high nitrite-nitrogen levels at one of the Matthews Meadows spray field monitoring wells and suggesting that the well on the municipal site be sampled for background nitrogen. Before any water sampling is done, Robert Wideman recommended to the Board that the well casing be fitted with a riser that will extend another 2-3 feet; the Board will proceed with Mr. Wideman’s recommendation.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:55 a.m.
