This meeting of the Board of Supervisors was called to order at 11:00 a.m. by Chairman Kenneth Miller; others in attendance were Supervisor Zoe Perkins, Manager Allen Heist, and Solicitor Fronefield Crawford.

Evans Farm - An agreement of sale was signed for the purchase of the Evans farm at St. Matthews Road and Rt. 401, which will be the future site of the Township Building. A motion was made by Mrs. Perkins and seconded by Mr. Miller that the Township purchase the Evans farm for $255,000.00 with a 45-day settlement date; the motion carried.

Township Park - The bid for construction of Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Township Park was awarded to Greenway Services, Inc., of Horsham, PA for a total amount of $214,442.00. This action took place with a motion from Mrs. Perkins and a second from Mr. Miller. Construction should be under way by early October.

Old Ridge Farm - Mrs. Perkins made a motion to extend final plan approval for the Old Ridge Farm subdivision for five years because it was viewed as a public benefit, particularly in that the existing plan is respectful of environmentally sensitive areas of the tract and that, if the owners were forced to resubdivide at a later date, it is possible that a new plan would be at a higher density than the approved plan. The motion was seconded by Mr. Miller and carried.
