The weekly workshop meeting of the Board of Supervisors, held
in the Township building, was called to order by Chairman Kenneth
Miller at 3:00 p.m. Present were Supervisors Miller and Zoe Perkins
and Township Manager Allen Heist.
The Board acknowledged receipt of one bid for a 1999 dump truck as advertised. Opening of the bid was delayed in order to receive another bid. Jim Dougherty of U.S. Municipal Supply made an issue of the second bid being delivered past the 3:00 deadline. Mr. Miller informed him that he had been notified that the second bid would be late because of a delay enroute. Bids were opened at 3:15 p.m. as follows with award to be made at the March 9 meeting:

Ludwigs Corner Fire Company requested a waiver from the Subdivision
and Land Development Ordinance application and review fees. The
Board acknowledged receipt of a plan indicating that 2.881 acres
will be transferred from the owner, Clyde Griffith to the Fire
Company. Because of the expense involved, the Fire Company has
requested the waiver of fees. The Board agreed to have the Township
Engineer prepare plans at the Township's expense and to waive
the Township fees. County fees will still apply.
The Board agreed to pursue preparation of an agreement of sale
for the Evans property at $250,000.00.
Forest Glen escrow release #2 in the amount of $21,813.80 was
unanimously approved with a motion from Mrs. Perkins and a second
from Mr. Miller.
The Board approved a proposal in the amount of $1,375.00 from
Jet-Vac for the cleaning and videotaping of sewer lines for the
Kimberton Sewer project.
